Change Habits. Get Healthy.

  • "I am 90 years old and have been dependent on insulin for my Type 2 Diabetes for 10 years. I started working with Dr. Kathryn Hall of FellFoot Lifestyle Medicine just six months ago. She designed a successful approach for me to reduce my dependency on insulin. In a very short period, I have changed my habits, my HbA1C is finally in range, and now I am nearly off insulin! I never imagined that there was hope to put my diabetes in remission, but Dr. Hall has shown me it's possible."

Kathryn Hall, MD, DipABLM

After studying medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Hall completed her anesthesia residency and subsequent fellowship in obstetric anesthesia at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

While practicing anesthesia and observing the impact of chronic disease on patients undergoing surgery and childbirth, Dr. Hall became committed to understanding disease prevention. As healthcare providers we are quick to jump to medications and procedures rather than focus on root causes of illness. This is not for a lack of interest or education, but rather a lack of time in the current healthcare environment.

In 2023, she became a Board-Certified Lifestyle Medicine physician, specializing in evidence-based approaches to improving health and longevity.

Dr. Hall focuses on preventing and treating chronic conditions such as pre-diabetes, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and cardiovascular disease. She also helps adults embrace healthy aging by preserving brain health and strength. Passionate about women's health, she provides Lifestyle Medicine care for mothers before, during, and after pregnancy, as well as for women navigating the menopause transition.

The Six Pillars of Health

Nutrition · Movement · Sleep · Avoidance of Substances · Social Connection · Stress Management

Lifestyle Medicine uses evidence-based interventions to address the root causes of chronic disease. When implemented, Lifestyle Medicine can prevent, treat and even reverse these conditions without medications.

What is Lifestyle Medicine?

“Approximately 80% of chronic disease and premature death could be prevented by not smoking, being physically active, and adhering to a healthful dietary pattern. Cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke, dementia, and cancer are all influenced by lifestyle choices.”
