Meet Our Team

Kathryn Hall, MD DipABLM

After studying medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Hall completed her anesthesia residency and subsequent fellowship in obstetric anesthesia at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

While practicing anesthesia and observing the impact of chronic disease on patients undergoing surgery and childbirth, Dr. Hall became committed to understanding disease prevention. As healthcare providers we are quick to jump to medications and procedures rather than focus on root causes of illness. This is not for a lack of interest or education, but rather a lack of time in the current healthcare environment.

As her interest in chronic disease prevention grew, Dr. Hall became a Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine physician in 2023.

Acacia Herndon, BSN, RN, BS

Acacia graduated from nursing school in 2022 and began her career in a hospital setting, where she cared for patients facing severe yet preventable complications of chronic diseases, such as strokes and amputations. This experience ignited her passion for preventative care and led her to pursue medical school. She will begin medical school in Fall 2025, with the goal of becoming a family physician specializing in Lifestyle Medicine.

Currently, Acacia works at Penn in a cardiology clinic, where she has gained extensive knowledge in Lifestyle Medicine and health coaching. She lives in Center City Philadelphia with her husband and cat. In her free time, she enjoys biking and weaving.
